The Casa Del Contadino was once a farmhouse, highlighting the estate’s rural vocation down the centuries. It can be used as dependance by your staff, being discreetly independent from the rest of the Villa. This separate building – plus its heritage-protected barn – offers superior accommodation for up to six people. On request, the Casa del Contadino can also be used by guests in order to reach 18 beds.
It makes you enter a world of serene and authentic beauty with a contemporary touch. The house has a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove sporting an attractive hand-painted mural. A classically stylish kitchen offers a full range of cooking facilities. Each suite has its own character and features a comfortable and stylish bathroom, thoughtfully finished with terracotta floors and retro style sanitary ware.
Resplendent in earthy pink tones on its exterior, the farmhouse has been tastefully redecorated from top to bottom. Yet this building retains much of its old authenticity and charm, thanks to the re-purposing of original materials (windows and antique terracotta floors) or retro-style restoration of various old furniture by local artisans.
