Enquiries and reservations
When you enquire about a stay, we process your name, email address, requested dates, number of guests and any information you include in your message. We use these details to answer you, prepare an offer and organise a possible reservation and stay.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or performing that contract. We also process information where necessary to meet our legal obligations. Without the required contact and stay details, we cannot properly handle your enquiry. Additional information in the message field is optional.
Who can access your data?
Access is limited to the people handling your enquiry or stay and the service providers needed for our website, email and reservation administration. Authorities may receive information where the law requires it. You can contact us for more information about the recipients relevant to your request.
How long are data kept?
For enquiries that do not lead to a reservation, the relevant criteria are the time needed to handle the request and necessary follow-up. For reservations, we also take account of the stay, applicable accounting and legal retention obligations, and any unresolved dispute. These criteria do not mean that every record is automatically deleted after the same fixed period.
Website statistics
We use Statify and WP Statistics to understand and improve use of the website. Depending on the tool, these statistics include pages viewed, referral sources, visit dates, basic browser and device information, and an approximate location derived from the internet connection, not GPS.
These two tools do not use tracking cookies. WP Statistics masks and hashes IP addresses rather than keeping full IP addresses in its analytics records. A daily-changing identifier estimates daily visitors; logged-in users are excluded and WP Statistics respects the browser's Do Not Track setting. Statistics are stored in our website database and are accessible to administrators.
WP Statistics is configured to aggregate detailed records after 180 days, retaining site and page totals. Statify is configured to retain its statistics for 365 days.
External content and cookies
The website includes YouTube videos and an OpenStreetMap map, and loads icons from Font Awesome. Loading this content connects your browser to those providers. They may receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, and use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.
These services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their policies explain data use, retention, locations and available safeguards. The links below provide the relevant information. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although blocking them may affect some functions.

Your rights
You can request access to your personal data and correction of inaccurate information. Subject to the legal conditions, you can also request erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You may also complain to the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or another competent supervisory authority, including the authority in the EU country where you live.
