The Villa
This is Villa Marie’s most important space. It affords guests unobstructed views from north to south, right through the living and dining rooms. The ground floor is decked out with a neat blend of fittings old and new, including original Tessieri tiles, Murano chandeliers, a fireplace as well as furniture of antique and modern Italian design.
Guests are also sure to enjoy the kitchen, of classical design and in painted boiserie, as well as the newly designed library featuring elmwood and boiserie.
Convenience is a watchword at Villa Marie. So besides the splendid classical staircase, a modern lift was installed that connects all the floors.
The first floor boasts colourful cement tiles, Murano chandeliers, tasteful antique furniture, as well as marbled bathrooms. Relax in the luxurious and peaceful setting of the intimate salon, surrounded by three spectacular suites. All windows offer a magnificent view of the estate’s gardens, the ancient towers of Lucca or our ‘Il forno’ building.
Our Villa’s top floor consists of three charming bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a common living room. Here, guests find themselves under the original ceilings of wooden beams and terracotta, with terracotta tiles beneath their feet. The overall effect is that of timeless yet rustic luxury.
In the basement of the Villa, our brand-new spa comes with first-class and modern facilities. These include a sauna, hammam, heated pool with hydromassage jets, and a lounge room with television. Guests also have access to a special area for wellness. Close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax as you enjoy a restorative massage or treat yourself to a beauty and skin care session with a certified specialist. All guests are free to access our spa, where they can spend many relaxing hours.
Also, the spa offers a wide selection of treatments and massages to choose from, created exclusively for our guests (advance reservation is required).
On this same floor you will have access to our private wine cellar where you can choose the right wine for every occasion from a wide range of local and national wines, selected by our sommelier.
